Founder & Chief Financial Officer

A Montgomery, Alabama native and retired U.S. Air Force officer, Greg Manora brings over three decades of leadership and public service to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Pillars. Prior to founding Pillars, Greg most recently served as a Deputy Director at the Defense Intelligence Agency where he held senior roles focused on workforce development, strategy, and human capital across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
Beyond his distinguished federal career, Greg’s roots run deep in service. Raised in a family of skilled tradesmen, he grew up learning home repair, landscaping, and the value of hard work—skills he now channels into uplifting underserved communities through hands-on projects. Greg is passionate about building stronger neighborhoods by restoring homes, cultivating community pride, and investing in people.
Greg is also the author of Raising Ivy, a compelling story of perseverance, education, and the power of a father's love and vision.
He holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Acquisition & Procurement. Greg lives with his wife, Anna, and is a proud father and grandfather.
